ALUMINUM REPLACEMENT BOTTOM STEP & BRACKETS FOR PETERBILT BATTERY BOX OR TOOLBOX
**Installing this part requires cutting the lower section of your box & drilling holes for the new step bracket. If your factory brackets are damaged or broken off, this is a simple, cost-effective, and quality solution.**
- Kit includes: (1) Aluminum step w/ heavy-duty end plates; (2) custom aluminum mounting brackets; (10) 3/8" stainless steel bolts; (10) nylock nuts; (20) washers
- Replaces Peterbilt Part # 11-04006-0774 or 11-04006-0775
- Fits all 579 style battery boxes and/or toolboxes (w/ 30-1/2" step), including 384, 386, 567, 579
- DOES NOT FIT 335, 367, 385, 378, 379, 388, 389
- Heavy Duty End Plates - 3/16" 'U' bracket is inserted in each end, then secured with 4 HD rivets. This makes the steps much stronger than the factory steps and other aftermarket-brand steps with thin end plates.
- Because our steps are bolt-on, they can easily be replaced if damaged again.
- Made in USA
- HEAVY-DUTY VERSION --- Includes 3/16" aluminum plate riveted to front edge of step for greater strength. This option (which is also available from the factory) eliminates the steps from cracking and bending in the middle.
